COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Despite the challenges COVID-19 presents us, AFFINIA 2022 Conference is proceeding and we eagerly look forward to seeing you on 2 - 5 May, where the value of connection in a live face-to-face setting has never been more important.

As AFFINIA 2022 will be a COVID Safe event, we have plans in place across all our suppliers and partners and we are regularly reviewing and updating these plans in line with best practice requirements and state law.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND AFFINIA 2022
AFFINIA is adhering to Queensland Government regulations in relation to access to hospitality venues.  Currently, only fully vaccinated persons or those with an approved medical contraindication (exemption), are permitted entry to Hamilton Island, in accordance with Queensland Health and Social Measures linked to vaccination status Direction (No. 3) issued on 8 February 2022.  These vaccination requirements apply to all individuals associated with the AFFINIA 2022 Conference who will be onsite for the event.

Hamilton Island uses the Check-In Queensland Government app (Check In Qld) for faster, easier and more accurate contact tracing.  All guests are required to check-in upon arrival using the app, therefore, will need to download the App to register their details prior to arriving.

It is a mandatory requirement that proof of vaccination or medical contraindication is provided prior to entering the venue (printed or electronic).  If you are 16 years or over, you will need to carry proof of your vaccination status and be prepared to show this upon request, so we recommend adding your vaccination certificate to the Check-In Qld App for easy access. These requirements may change prior to the event in response to updates to the Queensland Government guidelines.
